Just remember: nothing ever goes according to plan.
I saw the movie Valkyrie this weekend.  Excellent film.

if you know your history- you know the ending. I love history so I found this engrossing from beginning to finish. Not boring.

If you are looking for a movie about WWII, this isn't it. This movie is about an event that occured in WWII.  Don't expect character development, it isn't needed. The intent of this film is not the characters themselves, but what they wanted for their country.

Bryan Singer did a fantastic job. This certainly was his best directing yet, IMO.  This guy improves wih each new project. The cinematography was visually pretty and crisp. The script was great, the dialouge could have been more profound, yet it didn't weaken the overall story at all. The film flowed flawlessly, it never felt rushed at one point or stagnant at another part.

I think Tom Cruise as a person is mental. However, when he is acting like somebody else, he is awesome. I loved him in War of the Worlds, this movie was well played too. Tom Cruise I like you when you are not Tom Cruise.

If you are annoyed by Tom Cruise's portrayal. The rest of the cast's performances wlll revoke any dissapointment. There was many famous faces to see. The cast was well chosen. Each one was outstanding in their role.

It's such an odd sensation. lol
Thinking the guy is total bonkers, yet able to forget that when watching him in a movie.

LOL I'm sure I will! I'll wait for it to come on dvd (because I'm pathetically broke right now).
Hee, thanks! Same with your journal! We have a lot of the same interests too!

On your profile, can I just say I love you for saying this:

That's my biggest problem with fandom. People write you off totally sometimes just for liking a certain ship!

Thanks, I hope I can get one soon! Wow, $36? Hopefully I wont have to pay that much! LOL

Hee. Yeah, I mostly wait for the DVDs too. :)

We do! SMALLVILLE! To warn you, I don't post or comment often, though. There isn't enough hours in my day! :D

LOL. You can so say you love me for it! When I like a fandom, I don't care what couple someone ships. It's ridiculus! I want to be able to talk about characterization and plot, without the burden of disrespect. I'm one of those people who enjoys reading meta/reviews and I don't want someone thinking because I enjoy Dwight/Angela and they oppose it, doesn't mean I don't want to hear their ideas. I like enlightened ideas too much to be left out.

Yeah, I did not wait around to see if something was cheaper. I needed my computer. :))
